I received the following information as a blogger via Walt Disney Publications. While I’m attending an expense paid trip by Disney to the press events for The Good Dinosaur, Inside Out, and Miles From Tomorrowland, all opinions are 100% my own.
The past couple years I’ve been truly blessed to attend Disney press events. So for 2015, I had an absolutely amazing experience at #AvengersEvent out in Los Angeles. I was super sad to have to turn down a trip to Anaheim to attend the D23 Expo. However recently I was excited to say “yes yes yes!” to a trip to San Francisco!! The movie I’m attending press events for is one that I’m beyond excited for… Disney•Pixar’s THE GOOD DINOSAUR!!!
Disney and Pixar have definitely put together an amazing few days in San Francisco for 24 other bloggers and I to attend press events in honor of great family entertainment. I can’t wait to tell you all about, and hope you follow along!
#GoodDinoEvent
The first time I saw this teaser, all I could think was WOW! Visually this looks like a great film. My son on the other hand is just excited that he gets to go see a movie with a “T-Rex”. As long time fans of Disney•Pixar films, we are very excited for THE GOOD DINOSAUR! In this movie, you’ll meet an Apatosaurus named Arlo, who makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.
While out in San Francisco, I will attend a reception at Pixar Studios and screen footage from the film, as well as the short film Sanjay’s Super Team. The following day I’m attending a press event for the film that includes interviews with filmmakers, animators and a tour of Pixar Studios.
With Disney•Pixar’s long list of incredible entertainment, I have no doubt that this is going to be a wonderful movie for the whole family to see.

#InsideOutBloggers
On this same trip, I’ll aslo attend a special press day for the home entertainment release of INSIDE OUT, which is available on Blu-ray and Digital HD on November 3rd. I’m super excited to interview the filmmakers and soon to be announce voice talent from the film (as well as the all-new short film entitled Riley’s First Date?).
UPDATE!!! For INSIDE OUT, we are interviewing Phyllis Smith (voice of “Sadness”) and Richard Kind (voice of “Bing Bong”)! We will also get a chance to interview Pete Docter (Director of INSIDE OUT) and Jonas Rivera (Producer of INSIDE OUT). For RILEY’S FIRST DATE, we are interviewing Kyle MacLachlan (voice of “Riley’s Dad”) and Kaitlyn Dias (voice of “Riley”!! We will also interview Josh Cooley (Director of “RILEY’S FIRST DATE?”) and Mark Nielsen (Producer of “RILEY’S FIRST DATE?”). How awesome is that?
Don’t forget to connect with Inside Out on Facebook and Twitter.
#MilesEvent
On this trip I will aslo travel to the Google Headquarters!! How awesome is that? At the HQ, we will screen Disney Junior’s MILES FROM TOMORROWLAND, followed by a panel of talent, with a focus on on the importance of encouraging kids (especially girls!) to explore STEM fields. For those that don’t know, STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. As someone who works in a field directly impacted and IMPROVED by the use of STEM learning, and I can’t stress enough how awesome it is to courage people to enter this field. Definitely looking forward to this panel!
