We are huge fans of the Ice Age characters in our household! Everyone was quite excited to see Manny, Diego, and Sid back together. This time they are taking part in a high-seas adventure after their continent is set adrift, separating them from their loved ones. On their iceberg of a ship, the trio battles both exotic sea creatures and vicious pirates who don’t want the three to return home.

My Review
Now my son has always enjoy watching bits and pieces of the Ice Age movies, as well as the shorts. At his age, it is hard to get him to watch the whole movie through. When I popped in Continental Drift for him, I was surprised how long he actually stayed engaged! Okay, he did get up out of his seat a few times to play with his toys, but whenever he heard excitement back on screen, he came rushing to see. This has mostly to do with his age (19 months).
I myself enjoyed watching this great family film! There are plenty of laughs in the short 94 minutes. Of course the movie includes Scrat vs the Acorn scenes. I really liked the animation; thinking of all the Ice Age films, this one is the most crisp, colorful, and impressive. If your child loves Ice Age and loves pirates, then they are sure to enjoy this movie!

My whole family loves Ice Age! Scrat vs the Acorn always cracks me up too :) We actually haven’t had a chance to see Continental Drift yet. I’m planning on getting it as a Christmas gift for my daughter though! :)
