Hidden Treasure Soy Candles ~ A Treasure in Every Candle #Review & #Giveaway

Any time a company takes multiple things that I love and combines them, I’m all ears! I love love love scented candles. There is pretty much one in every room of my home. Know what else I love? Jewelry! I mean, come on, I’m a girl. What girl doesn’t love a little sparkle every now and then? So when I heard about Hidden Treasure Soy Candles, I was excited to test them out! Though the sweet aroma to soon fill my home wasn’t the best part… in each candle is hidden a treasure aka a necklace!

In every Hidden Treasure candle you will find a beautiful gold plated or silver necklace! You just have to burn the candle to find it. It is safely buried beneath the soy wax. You could even find an iPad winner’s code tucked away with your new necklace or one of their grand prize diamond necklaces valued between $1,000 and $5,000! How awesome is that? Hidden in some of these candles are Le Vian Necklaces and Tiffany & Co. Pendants.


Hidden Treasure Candles generously sent me a Sweet Pea soy candle to test out! They also sent a Southern Vanilla candle that smells amazing! Keep reading to learn how it could be yours. Both candles arrived safely covered in bubble wrap. Good to know when you order from Hidden Treasure, they make sure your candle arrives safely in one piece.

Based out of Hershey, PA, all of the candles at Hidden Treasure are hand poured with natural soy wax. This company uses a special hemp wick that burns clean. I loved that I didn’t see any black smoke coming off the wick. I love burning my candles either in the kitchen or living room, and I have to say, sometimes the last thing I want to see is a candle not burning clean. Luckily, the Hidden Treasure candles produce a nice flame, without the all the soot.

The candle is a generous size so I was very pleased with that. The candle was poured into a heavy duty glass jar and comes with a rubber lid. This created a nice seal to keep the fragrance in when the candle wasn’t in use. The aroma of the Sweet Pea is very nice. It’s not overpowering at all. However, when I burned it in the kitchen, I could still smell it over in the living room which I liked. The fragrance spread quite nicely throughout my household. My friends with smell sensitivities did not have any issues with these candles. However, please keep in mind that everyone is different.

On the website, it advised consumers to wait to burn the candle to reveal the prize rather than digging it out. Boy did I need to be patient! I mean, the good thing is that this candle and its aroma last long. You receive a good “bang for your buck” value with it. However, I had to wait a long time for my necklace to be revealed! The “treasures” are safely wrapped in foil and then sealed in a plastic bag to ensure they are not damaged in the candle. However, keep in mind, if you decide to dig yours out rather than waiting to burn the candle, you can damage the necklace. So just be patient and wait! It’s worth it.

It’s quite beautiful and the amber colored stone will be great for the upcoming autumn season! Browsing the website, Hidden Treasure has a lot of great and interesting scents. They are always come up with new ones! Caribbean Coconut and Summer Breeze would be perfect for this summer season. With autumn not too far off, I think I would enjoy Hot Chocolate or Macintosh Apple for when the air becomes crisp. Baby Fresh and Happy Birthday are their two brand new scents! They also offer layered candles and I have to say that the Hazelnut Coffee sounds amazing.
