While visiting Hershey, PA, I had the chance to go over and check out the Hershey Lodge, another Official Resort of Hersheypark. Now the Hershey Lodge has 665 guest rooms and 100,000 square feet of function space, but what I’m most excited about this resort is what’s to come later this year! It won’t be long before hotel guests can enjoy year-round water pool fun at the all-new Hershey’s Water Works at Hershey Lodge!
We had the opportunity to explore the space that will contain over 30,000 square feet of SWEET family fun. I strapped on my hard hat, and headed to an area that was was still very much under construction.
Now as I walked into the space, I scanned the area, envisioning all the amazing features that were to come… I knew it would not be long before this…
… was to become the image below, thanks to 3D photo rendering! How cool are is lighthouse tipping water bucket? And I just know my son will love the spraying Sand Castle!
Now this construction area might not be much to look at now…
… but it won’t be long before it turns into what you see below! Guests of the Hershey Lodge will be able to take a chocolate peanut butter adventure across Reese’s Water Walk!
Another part of Water Works I’m super excited about are the Twizzlers Twists water slides! Check out the images below of how they will look. Can’t wait!
What’s great about this indoor pool is that you can either relax by the Cocoa Cabana, or you can jump right into the pools and enjoy all the water features. Now I mentioned the lighthouse and sandcastle above… The pools will also feature a zero entry pool, perfect for little ones, as well as basketball hoops among many other fun zones in the pools.

I took a quick video of the space that will soon be Water Works! I know it’s hard to tell how amazing it will be from just looking at construction. However the space is great with lots of natural light! Plus towards the end of the video, you’ll see where there will be a snack bar to grab goodies and refreshments while enjoying the pool.
Now as I mentioned several times, Water Works will be at the Hershey Lodge. Be on the lookout for an upcoming post on the Official Resorts of Hersheypark, which include the Hershey Lodge, as well as The Hotel Hershey, and the Hersheypark Camping Resort.
Hershey’s Water Works at Hershey Lodge is scheduled to open Memorial Day weekend 2016.

This looks like a great place and one that my kids will love! We will be in that area later this summer! We should check it out!

Very cool! We have visited Hershey and really enjoyed it but yet to get the chance to stay at this hotel! I will keep it in mind!
