We are so excited that a new attraction is opening at Hershey’s Chocolate World in Hershey, PA very soon! Hershey’s Unwrapped, a new, fully immersive, interactive chocolate tasting experience that you do not want to miss! The new Hershey’s Unwrapped attraction is set to officially open on May 20, 2019.
Hershey’s Unwrapped
I was lucky enough to enjoy a sneak peek of the attraction. Hershey’s Unwrapped will replace the current Chocolate Tasting Experience.
While my family and I certainly enjoy the Chocolate Tasting Experience, the new Hershey’s Unwrapped brings a fresh and fun take on the tasting. The theatrical show will entertain the whole family on the delicious journey!
Hershey’s fans first enter the Hershey’s Academy, where they are then greeted by a quirky Professor.
As you enter, you will receive a Hershey’s Tasting Kit! Don’t be tempted to open it quite yet. Wait for the Professor’s instructions!
However, if you’re super curious about what’s inside, I’ll give you a one word hint. Chocolate!
The Professor welcomes guests into a theatrical show designed to tickle taste buds and practice utilizing their senses, while tasting a little bit of chocolate!
Guests will then meet Doc Chocolate, a seasoned chocolatier, who then guides them into a secret chocolate lab.
Once inside the secret lab, it’s your job to help Doc in a delicious chocolate experiment, using The Milton Melter.
I love that audience participation is encouraged and Doc selects audience members to help him with the experiment. It’s a fun way to keep younger audience members engaged in the production.
During the attraction, you will have the opportunity to taste some of the Hershey’s brands most iconic and sought-after chocolates (like my favorite Special Dark!).
Don’t think this show is only for kids! Even us adults, had a blast. And really, you can’t go wrong when Hershey’s Chocolates are involved!
Hershey’s Unwrapped really does take the chocolate tasting to a whole new level. The show is quite captivating, keeping your attention. It’s so much fun for the whole family, of all ages. I was certainly smiling the whole time!
The actors who play the Professor and Doc Chocolate will keep you in stitches! Their comedic timing and hilarious jokes are appropriate for all ages, and will none the less entertain your whole family. Their zany and wacky personas were perfect for the tasting experience!
The Hershey’s Unwrapped experience is the latest attraction to be featured at Hershey’s Chocolate World, which currently includes a 4D Chocolate Movie, Trolley Works, Create Your Own Candy Bar and Hershey’s Chocolate Tour ride.
Ticket Info
Tickets for the Hershey’s Unwrapped attraction are $15.95 for adults, $12.95 for kids, children 2 and under are free. Ask about bundling these tickets with other attractions for a way to save! Tickets can be purchased at Hershey’s Chocolate World or www.hersheyschocolateworld.com.

I’ve always wanted to visit Hershey’s Chocolate World. I really want to go now that they have added the unwrapped experience. Looks like a fun show and getting to taste the chocolate is such a plus.
I do not live that far away but have never been to Hershey Park. That show does look like a lot of fun and even though the kids are older now I think we all should get there to see it.
Oh my gosh, this is my kind of world. Chocolate? Yes please. I need to get here one day.
This was such an awesome experience. I can’t wait to take the kids back!
You had me at chocolate and Special Dark is my favorite too! This Hershey’s experience looks like a lot of fun.
This sounds like a really cool experience. I love Hershey and Hershey Park!
I’ve heard wonderful things about this place. I think if my husband and I get to do our dream, which is RV across America when we get old, we’ll definitely hit up this place. He’s a chocolate lover!
I’ve never been to an event like this! But I think it’s a lot of fun! My kid would love it!
Wow, this looks like a really fun family event. Who doesn’t love chocolate? I’m a fan of their Special Dark bar, too.
OK now this sounds like such a fun experience to go to! I love that Hersheys seem to do so many fun things for people to go to and learn more about them.
How fun would that be! What a cool look at Hersheys!
This sounds like great place to go. Fun experience. Kids will love it. We love Hershey’s a lot .May be some day I will plan a visit there.
How fun! Visiting Hershey Park is on our list. We hope to visit soon and enjoy all things chocolate. :)
I’ve heard so many cool things about going here. Can’t wait to get there one day myself!
I haven’t been to Hershey Park in almost 20 years, we need to go back. Hershey Unwrapped sounds like it is a lot of fun.
I have never been to Hershey Park but I would sure love to! Hershey Unwrapped looks like something the whole family will enjoy. Adding this to our summer activity wish list.
I will let my daughter know about this. They will be traveling close to Hershey Park in two weeks time so it would be nice if they could take their kids there.
Oh what a cool experience, I need to go here one day. Looks like a great place to visit.
Nice place, didn’t know they had this there. Neat share
We went to this yesterday. At $58 plus tax for a family of four, this was entirely too much to spend on a goofy 30 minute skit and $5 worth of chocolate.
