I was never a huge coffee drinker before I became pregnant. So cutting out the caffeine was no issue. However, after Baby C arrived, and I returned to work, I definitely needed some kick in the morning! Even though he sleeps through the night, it doesn’t mean I do! I went back and forth on whether to purchase a coffee machine or not. I was beyond excited when I found out I was receiving a Hamilton Beach – Senseo Stay or Go® Personal Cup™ Pod Coffeemaker! This coffeemaker retails for $34.99 according to Hamilton Beach, though I’ve seen it for sale for only $29.00. I’m not a coffee addict so I wasn’t sure how a regular pot coffee maker would serve me. The single cup is perfect for us one-cup drinkers! It allows you to brew a cup at home, or in a travel mug to-go!
Features:
- Brews into cups or travel mugs
- Fresh coffee made your way
- Easy, with no mess
- Includes 18 Senseo® coffee pods
- Brew basket is dishwasher safe
- Built-in stand for brewing into coffee mugs
- On light
- Other Senseo® coffee pod flavors available
I found the coffeemaker very user friendly! No measuring coffee beans! You use these pods, by just placing them in the brewing basket, and then pop it in the coffee machine.
Just place your mug in the coffee machine under the spout and you are good to go. The coffee only took 4 minutes to brew!
In those easy steps, I was left with a nice cup of coffee. Medium Roast is what came with the coffeemaker, but Senseo has many flavors available!
The only downside I found is that a pack of 18 pods retail for $35.99. That roughly comes to $2 a cup. There are several coffee shops in my town were an 8 oz cup of coffee retails for less than that. Though I guess the upside is that I don’t have to drive to the shops. I can just brew my own cup here at home.
This is 100% my own honest opinion. No one has influenced me otherwise and I was in no way compensated for this review. This review is solely based on my own experience with this product.
