I received the following information as a blogger via Walt Disney Publications. While I’m attending an expense paid trip by Disney to the Monsters University Premiere, all opinions are 100% my own.
Oh did I love college! The good times and the fun times, that’s what I’ll always remember. So you can probably imagine my excitement Disney said “Hey! Want to relive some of that University fun?” Okay, maybe not in those exact words… But I’m thrilled to announce that later this month I will attend the Monsters University Premiere (follow hashtag #MonstersUPremiere) in Hollywood! Yes, I’m headed back to college for some tailgating fun (and more!!), only this time to MU with my favorite Disney-Pixar buds, Sully and Mike.
I cannot wait to arrive in Los Angeles on June 17th! I just know it will be super fun to join my 24 other sorority sisters and fraternity brothers (aka bloggers) at the Sheraton Universal Hotel. Later that evening we will definitely have some monsterous fun at the Monsters University Tailgate Party on Hollywood Blvd! Afterward we will head to the World Premiere screening at The El Capitan Theatre!

Since I guess for a few days I’ll get to be a student again, I went ahead and made myself a brand new Student ID! I was even kind enough to create one for my son. He saw me making mine and just had to have one too. I’m still not sure who loves Sully and Mike more… him or me? (My guess is ME!)
As I do love a good tailgate, I immediately started digging through my closet pulling out anything white and blue (the school colors of Monsters University)! I feel like the past 3 days have been nothing but trying out different variety of outfits. Here is one outfit I think I’ll be learning towards, but we’ll see… Too casual?

Yes April, this is my first Disney trip too! A little nervous, hehe, but so super excited!! I just love the characters from Monsters Inc, and have no doubt that Monsters University will be just as awesome :)

Hehe, I’m a shoe fanatic, so it is very hard for me to leave my heels at home :P But still super excited about the tailgate!
