If you aren’t familiar, GIANT microbes offers plush toys that are made to look like tiny microbes, only multiplied a million times their actual size! Each one comes with an information card detailing facts on the microbe the toy represents. What a fun way to learn about microbes! GIANT microbes is always releasing new plush toys with every season. Their lasted microbes include crab louse, muscle cell, and babesia!
My son really loves the Bone Cell and Waterbear from GIANT microbes. We couldn’t be more thrilled to check out the Louse aka Head Lice in GIGANTIC Microbe size. Even though he was too young to read the tag, it was still packed with some great information. I love that educational aspect of their products. Plus it’s just kind of cool to see what the microbe actually looks like!
Again, if you have a child who is really into science, these might be the plush toys for them! He’s really into “bugs” right now so I knew that he would just love Louse! The plush toys are made of high quality materials and are sewn together well. My son had a tendency to pull hard on the legs of the lice. Luckily we had no issues of any of the seems coming undone!
Sorry for the blurry pictures! Do you know how hard it is to capture a 2 year old in a photograph? He’s been taking his Louse everywhere! It’s funny when people often asked me what he is carrying. He usually replies “louse bug” while I let them know it is actually head lice. It’s kind of fun how many people think it’s so awesome that he has such a unique plush to carry around. Plus the GIGANTIC size is perfect for cuddling. With Father’s Day coming up, GIANT microbes is actually offering a “World’s Smart Dad” Brain Cell microbe available for purchase! How fun is that? I love that the company always offers some unique gift for almost every holiday.

LOVE these. I actually have the malaria microbe from this same company. I’m a nurse and sometimes nerdy.

I love Giant Microbes!! I didn’t know they came out with a gigantic version, I must have one! We have Flesh Eating Disease, Bone Cell, MRSA, and a slew of their ornaments for Christmas. They’re such fun little plushies!

lmbo… I would take a picture and send to to friends saying “My son has lice!” with the info on the plush in tiny letters at the bottom!
I think it would also be a great plush to have laying around in a science kit for older kids and as a gift for scientist or science teachers as well. I bet it would be as big of a hit with them as it is for your little guy.
Thank you so much for sharing your lice with us (I could have so much fun with this.. lol)
