I love love LOVE this time of year. Not just because the trees turn to beautiful reds, orange, and yellows, as the air goes crisper, and I can finally enjoy everything pumpkin and apple cider… but also because it’s my favorite spooky month! Yes, I am all about Halloween and what makes it even more special this year is the home entertainment release of GHOSTBUSTERS! To celebrate the film, we plan to #BooItForward this year by “booing” our friends, thanks to Walmart.
Now before we get into deciding “who you gonna boo,” first let’s chat GHOSTBUSTERS. What better movie to watch to get you in the ghostly Halloween spirit!
We are so excited that GHOSTBUSTERS: ANSWER THE CALL is now available in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD! The extended version is jam-packed with GHOSTBUSTERS goodies, such as deleted scenes, gag reels, featurettes, commentaries, and alternate scenes you do not want to miss.
Now back to the booing! The fun and popular tradition of “Booing your Neighbor” has been around for several years now. It is such a great way to enjoy Halloween through a safe, family-friendly activity. Pretty much what you do is create a home decorated bag of treats and deliver it anonymously to your friend or neighbor. The important part though is to include instructions on how to “boo” as the recipient than has 48 hours to do the same to another friend or neighbor. This creates a fun Halloween chain of gifting!
We’ve always enjoyed this tradition in my community. I cannot wait to deliver the first kit and see how Boo It Forward takes off!

My son saw it at Walmart yesterday and asked me to get it. I didn’t because I want to go back and get it ffor his Christmas stocking. ;)
We got the same kit. I ate half of the candy before I started to share! I couldn’t help myself! I am glad I finally got to see this movie as well, I love the whole cast!
