One of the Disney films I’m anticipating the most this year is MALEFICENT starring Angelina Jolie! I cannot WAIT to see her play one of my longtime favorite “villains” (…and I’m going to use that term loosely here!) on the big screen.
I mean, just look at the new poster above! She looks fierce beyond words. Perfect casting if you ask me. Once you watch the trailer below, you’ll know that Jolie is absolutely going to be perfect in this role. Kind of makes me excited to see what other origin tales of Disney villains may hit Hollywood.
“Maleficent,” the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the classic “Sleeping Beauty,” reveals the events that hardened Maleficent’s heart and drove her to curse the baby, Aurora, only to later realize that the child may hold the key to peace in the land.
So today though I have some super exciting news. Disney Pictures has recently launched a Twitter account dedicated just to this upcoming release! Be sure to follow @Maleficent on Twitter. There is a big surprise coming… something huge. However you have to follow for more to be revealed…
