While I attended an expense paid trip by Disney to the Monsters University Premiere and other events, all opinions are 100% my own.
Lately our household has been all about PLANES! I’m talking Disney’s PLANES! I’m sure you’ve heard by now that this film debuted in theaters nationwide earlier this month. I admit, I’ve already seen it twice! Once while I was in California for the Monsters University Premiere, and again locally with my son. Be sure to check out my review!

While spending a day at Disney Toon Studios, my fellow bloggers and I received a sneak peek at all the fun new merchandise related to the film. I couldn’t believe all the adorable apparel, toys, books, and more! While I was browsing the products I couldn’t help but start to make a mental Christmas list for my 2 year old. If he saw all this PLANES merchandise, he would be in heaven!
Disney is offering a variety of PLANES apparel, especially t-shirts! Prices may vary, and I’ve seen different characters featured! Other apparel includes hooded towels, ponchos, and outfit sets.
Toys, Toys, Toys!
If you have smaller PLANES fans, they may enjoy the Pull & Fly Buddies (as seen in the above photograph). Your child will have fun when they simply pull and release the cord to rev the planes up. Then just watch them go! These buddies feature pull back racing action with moving propellers and jet thrusters.
After taking this sneak peek, I noticed retailers such as Target and Walmart, I’m seeing more and more figurines and racer playsets! Not only are these super cute, but great if your child likes to takes planes with them when traveling. I know my son always like to have one his little matchbox cars in hand. I’m thinking it will soon be replaced with a Dusty once he sees the new racer toys!
Right now I’m just loving the Die-cast Planes Characters! We actually have both El Chupacabra and Ishani. Each model is 1:55 scale, and comes with their own display case. I love that the propellers can spin and the wheels roll, just like real planes!
Another item that looks really cool is the Remote Control Dusty Plane! Geared towards ages 4 and up, this toy features spinning propellers and can go move in almost any direction with the controls right at your finger tips! While my son is still too young for this toy, I’m sure his cousins (and probably his uncles too!) would have an awesome time flying Dusty around!

My kids are obsessed with the movie Planes. We love the Remote control Dusty plane and it is on the top of their Christmas list!
We can not wait to see the new Planes movie. We loved Cars.
I’m looking forward to Planes coming out on Blu-Ray! My little boy is just obsessed with planes and helicopters.
