Not sure I can call this a full review…more of a “I’m loving this toy” post! I just received the Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Deep Blue Sea Soother this Friday night.
It has been a life saver yesterday and today! My son is absolutely loving it, or at least I think he is! Wide-eyed he stares with wonderment. My son has a habit of suddenly wanting me to play with him once I go to get ready for work, cook dinner, or go to the bathroom! (Okay, I know what he needs is an exersaucer, but I’m still trying to find one I can afford. Even the people on Craigslist want an arm and leg for one!)
Now I solve this issue by just placing him in the crib and quickly pressing the “Classical” button. There is an option for “Nature” sounds, and “Lullabies”. We save the Lullabies for when it is night time. He goes from fit to calm in a second!
|Nothing more soothing then his aquarium and a fist in the mouth|
Baby C usually falls asleep after his last feeding, but the past couple of nights this hasn’t been the case. I’ve been having to rock him to sleep. Last night after his feeding, I burped him, and though he was awake, I just placed him in the crib. At first he cried, but I turned on the Lullabies and this quickly changed. I watched as his eyes slowly closed and he was sound asleep. Like magic I tell you!
So happy I have this now! The only downside is that it didn’t fit to my crib where I wanted to place it. I had to strap it to the vertical bars instead. When I have time, I’ll probably try to makeshift strap it to the place I want it in the crib. Otherwise I’m very happy with this Soother! According to Fisher-Price, this product retails for $35.00.
This is 100% my own honest opinion. No one has influenced me otherwise and I was in no way compensated for this review. This review is solely based on my own experience with this product.
