This morning Entertainment Weekly unveiled the first still shots of Disney’s upcoming live-action version of their 1992 animated classic, ALADDIN! The film stars two-time Oscar® nominee Will Smith, as the iconic Genie, while Mena Massoud stars as the titled character, and Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine.

However Entertainment Weekly has gifted us images giving audiences a much better look at Guy Ritchie’s take on the classic tale. Known for his action thrillers, it will be interesting to see Ritchie’s interpretation of this “kids film.”
Other cast members include Marwan Kenzari as the infamous sorcerer Jafar, who plots to take over Agrabah; Navid Negahban as the Sultan concerned with his daughter Jasmine’s future; Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Princess Jasmine’s free-spirited best friend and confidante; Billy Magnussen as the handsome and arrogant suitor Prince Anders; and Numan Acar as Hakim, Jafar’s right-hand man and captain of the palace guards.
