As a busy working mom, my schedule is tight! Time is precious, and there are some days that I feel like my quality “me-time” or family time is dwindling. I’m always on the look out on how to efficiently save on time (and money!). One way I do this is by purchasing the best products (such as dish soap, medicines, laundry detergent) I can find that not only have a great value, but also actually WORK and get the job done. One of those brands is Purex!

Speaking of saving time… did you know Target now offers a service where you can order items online and then just pick them up at the store? Yes! No longer do you have to deal with long delivery times. Simply order your items, and once your Target has confirmed your order, simply head to the Guest Services desk that same day and pick up your items! This is especially convenient for me since I live right next to our local Target. Most of the time I’m passing it when I head home from work anyway.

In need of a few items, I headed on down to my local Target, who luckily has not only great deals, but also an amazing laundry care section in their store. I can always find exactly what I need in their detergent, fabric softener, and fragrance booster aisles. Now I’m definitely a fan of Purex Natural Elements laundry detergent. I love that it is only affordable, but also hypoallergenic and dye-free. This plant-based, natural laundry detergent is great for washing my son’s clothes since in the winter he seems to have sensitive skin.

In the next aisle over, Purex Crystals immediately caught my eye! Now I don’t usually use fragrance boosters, but once I saw there was a lavender scent available, I wanted to test the product. Turns out Purex Crystals are great for not only adding a fresh scent to your laundry, but removing odors as well.  Crystals are an excellent alternative to oil-based softeners that cause filmy residues, which is something I do not want in my son’s laundry.

Having a rambunctious energetic three-year old who loves the outdoors, his clothes get dirty! Now I could spend my free time scrubbing out stains, or I could rely on the Dirt Lift Power found in Purex. This detergent does a great job on lifting and removing mud, soil, dirt, and more!

Since Purex uses naturally sourced ingredients to give my laundry a deep-down clean, this means I can spend more time relaxing and enjoying “me-time”, and less time worried about laundry! We all know mommas do need their relaxation time every now and then. This is what I call LAUNDRY BLISS.

Reading a good book while my son plays out on our balcony is one of my favorite ways to relax. My little man absolutely loves riding his bike back and forth across our large balcony. On crisp Autumn days, nothing beats our “porch time”. Enjoying the weather, coffee, a book, and my son PERFECT “me time” for me.  Knowing that Purex is taking care of my laundry, this momma gets to unwind while laundry washes and dries. Let’s face it, time is precious. Wouldn’t you rather spend your time with loved ones or getting in that much needed momma me time than slaving away in the laundry room? I know I would!
