I’m one of those moms who is always concerned about what products I use in my home around my son. With the green movement, I think that people are becoming more aware of how harmful the chemicals we use in our homes can be, as well as how they can affect their health. Once my son arrived, I was shocked to learn that products made for babies could very often contain chemicals like dioxane. I was shocked and made sure I only used natural and eco-friendly products on and around him. This is why I was thrilled to learn about ecoSTORE USA.

ecoSTORE USA generously sent me their Coconut and Vanilla Body Wash to test, along with their Baby Bar Soap for my son.

My absolute favorite aspect about the body wash is that there are no nasty chemicals! In addition, I noticed that their products are made in the USA. While the body wash was clear (no artificial dyes) and had a thin consistency, it lathers up quite well! With just a little bit of the body wash I was able to get “suds” pretty quickly. The wash rinses off easily not leaving behind any time of film or heavy feeling. My skin felt so soft, fresh, and clean.

The wash had a nice light scent that smelled quite fresh. Since ecoSTORE USA does not use any heavy synthetic perfumes I appreciate that instead they use a blend of certified organic essential oils.

If you have sensitive skin, this is the body wash for you! As mentioned, the body wash does not contain any artificial dyes or perfumes. You don’t need to worry about Sodium Lauryl Sulphate or preservatives either. None of that in ecoSTORE products!

The Baby Bar Soap is a mild plant based soap, made from creamy goat’s milk. I often dislike how some baby products have that heavy perfume smell. That’s one of the last things I want my son to breathe in with his little lungs while I’m giving him his bath. Like the body wash, there is only a slight scent from the essential oil of lavender. I love that they used lavender. It is such a calming and soothing scent for your baby, especially in the evening when bedtime is inching closer and closer.

The soap has a nice lather and my son’s skin felt so soft afterward. Like the body wash, I was able to get a good lather rather quickly. The soap contains wheatgerm oil which is rich with vitamin E. The oils and vitamins help gently soothe, nourish and protect a baby’s sensitive skin. This helps relieve or avoid skin conditions, rashes and other chronic problems such as asthma and allergies. I know as a baby my asthma or allergies were trigger by the smell of heavy chemicals, such as perfumes. I was at peace that there was nothing to irritate his tiny nose or lungs.

You do not have to be a baby to use this soap! I even sneaked a shower with it, and it felt so soft on my skin! At 2.8 oz, it is a nice size bar for the whole family to use. Just make sure you leave some of the soap left for the baby!
