I’ve previously discussed on my blog the struggles I’ve faced trying to get back in shape after having a baby last year. At my age, I thought it would be no issue for my body to easily bounce back. What I didn’t anticipate was the knee injury I suffered during maternity leave. All the time off I planned to work out and focus on fitness before I returned to work went right out the door. When the near year arrive, I knew I did not have any excuse not to try to make an effort. For this new “get fit” journey, I knew I was going to need a scale that did the job and let me know my exact weight. This is why I was thrilled to learn about the EatSmart and their line of innovative digital bathroom scales.

EatSmart generously sent me their Precision Digital Bathroom Scale to assist in my journey and for review! I cannot tell you how giddy I was when the package arrived. At the time of arrival, I had just started working with a fitness company on new workout routines. I couldn’t wait to track my weight loss with the EatSmart scale.
One of my favorite aspects is that this scale measures body weight down to the nearest 0.2 lbs. This way I really tell if my weight loss fitness routine is working! I love that all I have to do is step on the scale and in seconds my weight appears on the 3.5″ LCD screen. No tapping to turn the scale on, you just simple step on!
For the scale, all you need is 4 AAA batteries, which come with the scale. The scale has a sturdy tempered glass platform, but weights only 4 lbs. The weight limit on the scale is 400 lbs. I love that the scale offers 3 measurement modes with pounds, kilos, or stones.
After using this scale for over a month, I can say it is quite accurate! At a recent doctor’s visit, my weight was the same as what my Precision scale displayed at home. I took a 6 lb. weight to test. According to both my parents’ home scale and the doctor’s scale, the weight was a tad over 6. Here it is on the Precision scale below!
Look at that! Unlike other scales, you don’t have to worry about this one “lying” to you. I just love the accuracy of this scale. I’ve been in recent conversations to work with a well-known diet food supplier. I am more than thrilled to continue my fitness and weight loss journey with the EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale by my side. WOw, I need this! I was feeling pretty low because of the number on my scale at home. Then I weighed myself on my mom’s scale and it was a 10 lb (less) difference! I need an accurate scale.
