One thing that I love about the cold weather is gathering around a fire (or in my case a fireplace because there is no way I’m hanging out in that cold weather) and roasting marshmallows! I love making s’mores. The chocolate, the graham crackers, and the toasted marshmallows all rolled into one delicious treat. Though it can get messy! Wouldn’t it be nice to have mess-free easy to make s’mores? Luckily my sister shared this recipe!
First gather up all your ingredients. You’ll need:
2 cups of flour
1/2lb of butter at room temperature
3/4 of a cup of brown sugar
1/4 of a cup of granulated sugar
1 package of vanilla instant pudding
2 eggs (we used large ones)
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 cup of Golden Grahams cereal
1 cup chocolate chunks (we used semi-sweet)
1 bag of mini marshmallows
Optional: nuts for cookies
Go ahead and preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Now get your mixing bowl out! Mix in the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Then beat the mixture till is is nice and fluffy in texture. Throw in the instant pudding and make sure you mix it in really well. Add your eggs and vanilla extract. This is when you may want to break out the mixer to blend everything together. Here is the important part though. You want to add in the flour, but do it slowly. Beat the mixture again and then throw in the chocolate chunks or chip, with the Golden Graham cereal!
