I often host little get-togethers at my home. While I always like to put out some snacky appetizers for my guests, chips and salsa can grow tiresome. That is why I love this easy baked brie appetizer recipe! Best part is, you can customize it. You don’t have to exactly use the same ingredients as I use below.
First just grab a few ingredients. You’ll need one large sheet of puff pastry or refridgerated crescent dinner rolls. We just grabbed Pillsbury brand from the grocery store. In addition, grab a round wedge of brie or a brie log. In the pictures, we bought a brie log from Trader Joe’s as they were all out of wedges. Get some brown sugar and maple syrup, and grab your favorite jam! We picked raspberry since I thought that flavor always went well with brie. I’ve also used strawberry and blackberry jams with the brie. Delicious!
Make sure you preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Use a non-stick cookie sheet, or do what I do, and just use tin foil for easy clean up. Simply lay out the puff pasty or crescent dough on your cookie sheet. Proceed to spread the jam on the dough as seen below.
Take your maple syrup and drizzle it over your dough and jam.
Sprinkle some brown sugar on top of that.
Let the brie cool for 5 minutes and then serve! See? Now how simple was that? You have to love those easy recipes! Plus now you’ll have an appetizer that is a little different than a veggie tray or chips and salsa. Enjoy!
