Aside from general cleaning and picking up around the house, laundry is the chore I find myself doing the most! Normally I find it annoying since it is so never ending. However, I like to take good care of the clothes my family wears. It important to not only preserve them to keep them in great condition, but leave them staying wearable! With a baby, I need his clothes to be not only clean, but super soft for his sensitive skin. This is exactly why I was thrilled to discover Dropps and their line of fabric softeners and laundry detergent.
Introducing Dropps – an innovative liquid detergent that makes laundry “laundr-easy.” Its super-concentrated formula fits in tiny pre-measured “toss-and-go” dissolvable pacs. Once unleashed in your washer, it’s tough on dirt, but easy on your favorite garments.
Dropps generously sent me their Fabric Softener Pacs in Orange Blossom and their Baby Laundry Detergent Pacs. I absolutely love how easy these Pacs are to use. I simply turn on my washer, and drop a pac (or two if you are doing an extra large load) in while the water flows. You can use the pac in either hot or cold water. The pac will dissolve and is made out of a 100% biodegradable material. I just love that green aspect of this product, and that I will not have to worry about its impact on the environment.
I first used the Orange Blossom softener pacs in my regular laundry. I love the light hint of a sweet citrus scent in my clothing. The fabric softener is also available in Wild Orchid and Lavender scents. I could tell the little natural minerals had made their way through the fabrics. My t-shirts felt extra soft and my jeans were not stiff! In the past when I’ve used softeners, I’ve noticed they have left residue on my garments. Not with Dropps! The softener was thoroughly rinsed away. Plus, there was no static on my clothing! These pacs are safe to use on all fabrics.
I then proceeded to wash my son’s clothes with Dropps Baby laundry detergent. Since my son has allergies and sensitive skin, I have to be careful about what type of detergent I use. Luckily, Dropps Baby is dye-free, scent-free, and enzyme-free! My son’s clothes were clean, soft, and most of all itch-free. I absolutely love that the Dropps Baby formula is approved by the EPA’s Design for the Environment (DfE) program. Let me point out though, while I used Dropps Baby on mostly cotton outfits, this specially formulated liquid detergent is safe for all fabrics, including silk!
I cannot stress enough on the wonderfully green aspect of Dropps. I think this chart below pretty much explains it all! While most detergent is 75% water, Dropps eliminates the water leaving a compact concentrated pac for your use! Plus that big bulk plastic container while most likely head to a landfill, while with Dropps, the pacs dissolve and you can recycle the packaging through Terracycle!
Buy It: You can purchase Dropps products right off their website! There is a $6 flat shipping rate, or free shipping is offered on orders of $35 or more. Dropps is also available for purchase from online retailers such as Amazon.
