Today’s Great Post was written by Dawn from Slop Swap. This is a great last minute project to do with the kids with supplies you’d have on hand, for “one of those days”!
My daughter has spent her fair amount of time in St. Joseph’s Hospital. If you’ve read Faith’s journey, you know her story. The child life staff at the Children’s hospital have been great. They do a group activity each day for the kids that consist of crafts, games, etc. Recently Faith was in the hospital for an out patient stay and for the group activity they made autograph books and then had all of their doctors, nurses, child life and other staff sign them. Faith’s sister Abbie also went with this day and they both really enjoyed this activity.
I thought this would be a great craft to do anytime. This could be a great activity for those days when there’s no school. We’re going to have Christmas and winter break coming up and having something for the kids to do, will be great! They don’t have to be autograph books. They can be color books, picture books, scrapbooks, etc.
