I’ve always been more of a seafood girl, but lately I’ve been trying to create more chicken dishes for dinner. Have to get my protein! I’ve cooked meat before with marsala wine, so I figured why not try chicken marsala one night?
This recipe is super easy to follow and you don’t need to be a culinary genius to achieve a great tasting dinner! Maybe try it for a certain love-themed holiday coming up Thursday?
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
Marsala wine
olive oil
Italian style bread crumbs
2 or 3 garlic cloves
mushrooms
fresh parsley
Directions
First you’ll want to wash both your chicken breasts and then coat them with bread crumbs. Toss the chicken into a pan and cook in the olive oil on medium to high heat. This should take around 7 or 8 minutes. It really depends on the thickness of your chicken breast. The thick it is, the longer you should cook in the pan. Once your chicken is done, just place it on the side until ready to serve.
Now time for the sauce! Using the olive oil, sauté your garlic cloves for a few minutes, again using medium to high heat. Add about a third of a cup of marsala wine, and then throw in some mushrooms. I’m a huge mushroom fan, so I admit that I throw in a LOT of mushrooms! Top with fresh parsley and let it sit in the heat for a few minutes. This will allow the mushrooms to cook in the wine.
That looks completely fabulous!
Wow, that looks amazing! I’m totally pinning this :)

Really like chicken marsala – never have marsala wine in the house though. Definitely have to plan ahead.
