The other day I posted about our experience at Hersheypark in the Dark during opening weekend. We had so much fun! Over 55 rides and attractions are open for the last two weekends in October, and first weekend in November. While we definitely had a blast out on the Hershey’s Trick-or-Treat Trail, riding our favorite thrillers, and jamming out to Screaming Mummies… it was the delicious food that kept our bellies full and smiles on our faces. Both Hersheypark Amusement Park and HERSHEY’s Chocolate World are currently offering a nice variety of meals and sweets featuring the flavors of fall.
It’s close to midnight… Something evil’s lurking from the dark… Those were the words echoing in our ears as we strolled through the gates of Hersheypark Amusement Park this past weekend. While Michael Jackson’s famous Halloween themed tuned played through the speakers, we knew nothing evil lurked in the Park, only spooky family fun! Hersheypark In The Dark Halloween Attraction opened this past Friday to offer families amusement park fun during everyone’s favorite spooky holiday.
Hersheypark Amusement Park has been teasing for weeks that they would announce BIG news today, and boy did they mean big! Inspired by the legacy of founder Milton S. Hershey, Hersheypark is gearing up for a $150 million transformational expansion! Opening in summer 2020, Hershey’s Chocolatetown is a new region at Hersheypark where guests can eat, play, shop and gather year round as part of the development of 23 acres.
Fall is finally here, which means one of my favorite holidays is upon us… Halloween!! Last year we enjoyed sweet fun celebrating the spookiest of days at Hersheypark in the Dark Halloween Attraction at Hersheypark Amusement Park. We are beyond psyched that once again, Hersheypark will offer the Happiest Halloween with this popular seasonal event! Plus the Creatures of the Night experience will return to Zoo America North American Wildlife Park during Hersheypark in the Dark hours.
It won’t be long before school stars back up, the air becomes a bit more cool and crisp, and the leaves start to change to their rich warm hues! That also means Annapolis, Marland area fall festivals are in full swing!! If you are as excited for Fall as I am, you’ll definitely want to check out the list of fun family fall celebrations complied by Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (VAAAC)! You won’t want to miss these local celebrations offering unique culture and cuisine experiences!
