On August 25th, I decided to head to the Pennsylvania Dutch Farmers’ Market here in Annapolis. My son, sister, and I were headed off to a festival later that afternoon, but it had been quite some time since we had stopped at the market. It was on the way, so why not?!?
Now before you scroll through the whole post and look at all the deliciousness, I just have to say that the day ended with a very happy little whoopie pie loving toddler!
More commonly known to us locals as the “Annapolis Amish Market“, I forgot how crowded this place can be on a Saturday morning! All of the Amish merchants are from Lancaster PA, located in Dutch Country. Most of the items in the market are made in Lancaster County using traditional Dutch recipes that have been handed by the Amish through the generations. Non-homemade items are available for purchase. Inside the market also resides the Dutch Market Restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared by Amish cooks.
