Waking up to an awesome surprise this morning… the *NEW* trailer for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR!! Of course I had to rush away from work and jump on here to share the trailer with you all. I wouldn’t want any of my readers to miss out on Marvel awesomeness!
Seriously… is it May yet? Earlier this year I attended #AvengersEvent out in LA for Marvel’s AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. It was awesome to chat with Kevin Feige, but he wasn’t giving us too much info on Civil War and Marvel movies to come. So it is awesome to finally get a glimpse at the latest Marvel flick!
In this film, we find Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But uh oh! Sadly another another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage. The aftermath causes a governing body to oversee accountability and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in one group led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. Which side will you pick?

I was concerned about how they were going to make Steve antigovernment, and Tony pro, especially after the events of Age of Ultron, but I like how the trailer hints that the governments go overboard with hunting Bucky down. That would make Steve feel like the government is becoming fascist. I’m still not sure how they are making Tony join the pro side unless they put him in charge of some government agency
I am a huge Marvel fan!! I am so excited to see this movie, it seems like its been forever since the last marvel movie came out.
