As you can probably tell by the recipes on this blog… I love spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking! However, I’m not a big fan of chopping. Slicing and dicing jalapenos and onions is not my definition of fun. Luckily I’ve recently discovered the Brieftons Food Chopper which is not only effective, and versatile, but also affordable. It takes all the tough work out of chopping and is so easy to use.
This hand food chopper is compact and safe to use. It has a capacity of 4 cups, and is a great way to chop fruits, vegetables, nuts, and herbs. Also it is perfect for creating fresh pesto, salsas, coleslaw, and salads. The three rotating blades will dice your food in just seconds. 
This tool isn’t only for chopping though. I love that it also comes with a mixer blade for mixing and blending ingredients. Very useful!
I found this food chopper to be an incredibly useful tool when I made Cauliflower Crust Pizza earlier this month! I used it to “rice” the cauliflower as seen below. I simply chopped up the head of cauliflower into florets, and placed them in the chopper.
It only took a few pulls on the chopper to cut and rice up the cauliflower. A knife never has to go near my fingers, and the tab is pretty easy to pull. So easy!
Using the pull cord, the comfort soft grip lid, and anti-skid base, I was quickly able to cut the cauliflower down to the perfect consistency in less than a minute.
The Brieftons Food Chopper definitely made it quicker to turn the image above, into the image below! I can’t express enough to you how much of a time saver I found this affordable device to be.
Additionally, this food chopper is quite easy to clean. The blades, bowl and storage lid are top-rack dishwasher safe. Plus I found the other components to come apart easily for cleaning.
Pull Guide:
1 – 5 pulls for coarse, chunky cuts
6 – 10 pulls for medium to fine cuts
11 – 20 pulls for fine to very fine cuts
20 or more pulls for very fine of puree consistency.

What a nifty tool! I would find so many uses for this chopper… onions, garlic, all sorts of veggies.. How does it do with nuts?
