Fans all over have been eagerly awaiting news of when Boba Fett would grace the small screen again. I’m here to tell you today that Disney+ finally announced that December 29, 2021 is that date!
Yes, the new Lucasfilm series will premiere on Wednesday, December 29, exclusively on the streaming service. THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT is centered around the legendary bounter hunter and the mercenary Fennec Shand, as they find their way through the Galaxy’s underworld upon returning to Tatooine. They’ve come to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt, but I can’t wait to see what thrilling adventures are in store fo this duo! Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen return as their characters seen in Season 2 of THE MANDALORIAN.
The executive producers are Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.
