You know what’s a great month? February. You have Presidents Day, Valentine’s Day, Black History Month, my birthday… and Marvel’s BLACK PANTHER finally hits the theaters! In CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, when we first meet T’Challa, he’s already stepped into his role as Black Panther. In this self-titled film, we watch as this hero returns to Wakanda to succeed the throne after the death of his father, the King (as seen in CIVIL WAR).
Wakanda is now an isolated, technologically advanced African nation. It’s not long before a powerful old enemy reappears. T’Challa must now balance his life as the king and Black Panther, for the fate of Wakanda (and the world) is at risk!
BLACK PANTHER stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, with Angela Bassett, with Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. The film is directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nate Moore, Jeffrey Chernov and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole wrote the screenplay.

Seriously how amazing does this film look? I’m excited for the action sequences! They look like they will be absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed Boseman’s performance in CIVIL WAR, and I can’t wait to see how he carries his own super hero film.
Marvel Studios’ BLACK PANTHER arrives in theatres everywhere on February 16, 2018!
