Is it Christmas? Because I feel like it is! Marvel Studios finally dropped the new trailer for AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR!!!! And it is amazing. This is what all us Marvel fans have been waiting for… To see new and old Avengers alike, from the different Phases, join up with everyone’s favorite bunch of a-holes aka Guardians of the Galaxy. Now before I go on and on, watch for yourself!
So it looks like Thanos has finally emerged and is working his way through his goal of collecting all six of the Infinity Stones (you know, those artifacts of insane power!) Of course we know that once he collects them, the world is pretty much doomed. Now it’s up to the Avengers and their fellow heroes and allies to protect Earth and its very existence.
Now fans of THE INFINITY GAUNTLET and THE INFINITY WAR comic series may have an inkling or two of what may or may not happen in the film. While the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) does find inspiration from the comics, the MCU often changes the plot lines. It will be interesting to see how this plays out… considering a major player from the comics, Adam Warlock, has yet to be seen in the MCU. Or has he?
In GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2, Ayesha wants revenge against the Guardians for stealing the Anulax Batteries and destroying several Omnicrafts. There is a scene where we see her using a advanced Birth Pod, where she looks upon it and notes that she will call her creation Adam.
Did you see the Avengers Vanity Fair covers yet??
AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR arrives in theaters May 4, 2018!
And for all you comic books fans, don’t forget… In January 2018, Marvel Comics will publish a two-issue prequel comic AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR PRELUDE, which will connect CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR to AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR.
