I admit, these holidays were a little stressful. I had a handful of parties to plan and host, as well as being designated as the one to purchase, wrap, and deliver all the family presents. Just a busy busy time! I could feel the stress getting to me, and my skin was showing it. Two spots popped up and right before the holidays? UGH! Luckily I had the opportunity to test out ApothedermTM Skin Care Science, specifically, their Acne Clarifying Treatment! It could not have arrived a better time!
ApothedermTM‘s Acne Clarifying Treatment is designed as both a spot treatment, and overall facial acne treatment. It works to clean up sebum and reduce the appearance of your pore size. Since my skin tends to dry out in the winter, I love that the treatment is gentle, but strong enough to work.
Apothederm sent me a 1 oz bottle of their Acne Clarifying Treatment. Might seem small, but you only need a dot! I used it was spot treatment on the two blemishes that had appeared. In less than a week they were dried up and greatly reduced! After 2 weeks they were completely gone.
The formula of the treatment contains beta hydroxyl acid and peptide. These are the ingredients that help decrease the appearance of the blemishes. They also help improve the skin to prevent future breakouts! Since my skin tends to become oily in the summer (and since I plan on using this product in the future), I love that it is oil-free! Since I have allergies, it is a major plus that the treat is fragrance free and dermatologist tested.
Directions are simple. Apply a thin layer of the serum to a CLEAN face one a day. Start out with once a day since the serum an dry your face out. For better results, you can use the serum twice a day, but wait until after you’ve done the once a day test. The serum is very lightweight so I love that I can put it on in the morning before I go to work and I don’t feel like I have anything heavy or greasy on my face. It absorbs into the skin quite quickly!

Overall I’ve been happy with the results from Apothederm. I plan to post again next month after further time use with product! Stay tune…

I have combination skin that only ever breaks out when I over stress, and I have never been able to find a spot treatment product that I was happy with, so thank you for sharing your experience with this product, it is something I need to check out and try for myself.
