Hersheypark Springtime In The Park Opens April 6

So long Winter and hello Spring! The sun is shining and flowers are blooming, marking the arrival of Spring. What better way to celebrate than heading to The Sweetest Place on Earth! for the annual Springtime In The Park event at Hersheypark Amusement Park! The 2019 celebration starts this weekend taking place April 6-7, April 13-14 and April 19-21.  Hours are 10:00 AM to 9 PM on Friday, April 19 and all Saturdays. Hours on Sundays are 10 AM to 6 PM.

Admission for the event is $38.95 for ages 9 to 54 and $27.95 for ages 3 to 9 and 55 and older. Children 2 and younger are free. 2019 Hersheypark Season Passes, multi-day and group admission plans are also available.  Tickets may be purchased in advance online at Hersheypark.com.

The Carrousel’s 100th Anniversary

Springtime In The Park will also mark the first opportunity for guests to ride the beloved Carrousel in its 100th anniversary year. The Carrousel, built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company in 1919, is one of the most popular rides at Hersheypark and one of the oldest carousels in the country. The ride features all 66 original, hand-carved horses that have taken generations of guests on an unforgettable ride back in time.

To celebrate, Simply Chocolate is offering the limited edition Carrousel inspired King Size Shake! The chocolate shake features whipped cream, a chocolate covered pretzel, and a Carrousel Horse sugar cookie!

New for 2019

New for 2019, guests will be treated to expanded culinary offerings, including an all-new Chick-fil-A® food truck. The Outpost, a dedicated gluten-free and nut-free stand in the Pioneer Frontier area, will feature a redesigned menu for guests with food allergies.

The Carrousel inspired King Size Shake isn’t the only new, exciting offering form Simply Chocolate. Everyone’s favorite dessert shop is also offering a line of Shakes inspired by Reese’s Cupfusion, the all-new interactive gaming ride opening in summer 2019. Guests may also notice a new theme for two popular kiddie rides in the Founder’s Way area in advance of Reese’s Cupfusion.

Fast Track / HPGO

For Springtime in the Park, 13 world-class roller coasters will be open for enjoyment! Guests can further enhance their amusement park experience through the Fast Track program: Fast Track and Fast Track Unlimited, new for 2019, allow park-goers to get to the thrills faster than ever before by skipping the regular line on up to 13 attractions, including 12 coasters.

Seamlessly integrating with the enhanced Fast Track program is the introduction of an all-new program called HPGO. Hersheypark will offer guests more personalized experiences than ever before as this exclusive guest platform connects with the Hersheypark app to collect free ride stats and photos from Reese’s Cupfusion and Whitecap Racer, when they open later this summer.

Don’t forget though, with your one-price admission ticket, you’ll not only receive access to more than 50 of the Park’s rides and attractions, live entertainment shows, but also entrance to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park!

America’s Magical Funnyman™ Chris Linn returns to perform at the Chevrolet Music Box Theatre! His part comedy, part magic show is 100% pure entertainment fun! Also don’t forget Meet & Greets with Hershey’s Characters!
