Hersheypark Amusement Park is open for the season and we couldn’t be happier!! As Season Pass holders, we couldn’t contain our excitement and headed to Hershey back on March 30th for the Opening Day of Springtime in the Park. There are so many amazing perks to being a Season Pass Holder. Of course the best perk being unlimited visits to Hersheypark, all for less than the price of 3 visits!
Hersheypark is open 175 days on the calendar for 2018. We’ve already visited once, and are counting down to our next visit during one of Hersheypark’s Food Truck Fridays! Have you seen the line up? We are food truck obsessed so I couldn’t be more thrilled with this new addition! Keep in mind that Food Truck Fridays only run through May 18.
But back to the Season Passes! Here are just some of the awesome perks that come with being a Hersheypark Season Pass Holder…
Free Parking
Season Pass holders get access to a Season Pass parking lot that is right next to the entrance of the Park. Even better, parking is FREE!! All you have to do is show your Season Pass to the parking attendant on your way in, and then make your way to the special lot.
Hersheypark Sweet Start
With Sweet Start, you can enter Hersheypark one hour early, before the gates officially open to the public. During this time, select rides in Founder’s Way, The Hollow, and Kissing Tower Hill. This is an especially great perk if you have little ones who are overwhelmed with crowds. Sweet Start is available for select dates May-September, 2018, and is not available for Springtime In The Park, Hersheypark In The Dark, or Hersheypark Christmas Candylane.
Food and Drink Discounts!
One of my favorite perks to being a Season Pass holder is that I get 15% off food and merchandise not only at Hersheypark, but also at Hershey’s Chocolate World. As a single mom on a budget, the discount definitely helps to save money while enjoying our time in Hershey, PA.
Season Pass Holder Souvenir Cup
One of the first things we did when arriving at Hersheypark last month was purchase our insulated 2018 Season Pass holder souvenir cup! For under $30, you can purchase the cup and then enjoy FREE refills on fountain drinks, ICEEs, and unsweet iced tea all year long!! Season Pass holders can refill their cup every 10 minutes (unless you are refilling with water, which can be refilled anytime).
Unlimited Year-Round Visits to ZooAmerica
Included with your Season Pass is unlimited admission to Zoo America Wildlife Park! If you aren’t familiar, ZooAmerica is a year-round zoo on 11 acres next to Hersheypark. There is an entrance from the Park to the Zoo over by Hershey Triple Tower!

My girls would love this amusement park. So much fun. They wouldn’t mind the chocolate either.
I’ve heard great things about Hersey’s Park, hopefully, one day I’ll get to visit. A great benefit to get access to Zoo America also.
Seriously Hershey’s Park has been on my bucket list for years! Hopefully we can go one day.
