The other day I posted about our experience at Hersheypark in the Dark during opening weekend. We had so much fun! Over 55 rides and attractions are open for the last two weekends in October, and first weekend in November. While we definitely had a blast out on the Hershey’s Trick-or-Treat Trail, riding our favorite thrillers, and jamming out to Screaming Mummies… it was the delicious food that kept our bellies full and smiles on our faces. Both Hersheypark Amusement Park and HERSHEY’s Chocolate World are currently offering a nice variety of meals and sweets featuring the flavors of fall.
Pumpkin King Size Shake
It’s no secret we are big fans of the King Size Shakes, available at Simply Chocolate in Hersheypark, and we were beyond excited when Swirl introduced King Shakes as well! So I was pretty happy when I heard that the limited edition Pumpkin King Size Shake would return once again for this year’s Hersheypark In The Dark.
This oh-so-yummy King Size Shake features a scrumptious cream cheese filled Pumpkin Roll on top with fall colored sprinkles and chocolate covered pretzel rods.
The shake is only available during Hersheypark in the Dark! So I guess you better hurry and make your way over to Simply Chocolate soon!

And the answer is YES, just in case you were wondering if Simply Chocolate would offer their Pumpkin Roll Ice Cream sandwiches once again! The sandwiches are $3.99 (before Season Pass discount).
Also pumpkin fans do not want to miss the Dipped Pumpkin Cheesecake at Turkey Hill Creamery! This Pumpkin cheesecake dipped in white chocolate topped with Heath bits retails for $5.29 (before Season Pass discount).
Smores BBlz
Anytime we visit Hersheypark, my son always wants to stop and grab a beverage from BBlz. This trip was no different. I was excited to see that BBlz had two new fall offerings for the season! I decided to try their Smores BBlz, and boy did it not disappoint!
The beverage contained a mixture of Pepsi, vanilla flavor shot, and marshmallow foam with graham cracker crumbs, chocolate icing, with mini marshmallows, and a HERSHEY’s pip. So good!
Hopefully I can get back soon to try the Caramel Apple BBlz! It’s a mix of Mist Twist, granny Smith syrup, caramel foam, with crushed up peanuts, caramel icing, with granny smith apple slices, peanuts, and Hershey chocolate syrup.

Pumpkin Pie Funnel Cake
Funnel Cakes are quite the popular sweet treat at Hersheypark. For fall, the Pumpkin Pie Funnel Cake is now available!
With pumpkin flavors, graham cracker crumble, powdered sugar and glaze, (and optional whip cream) this is my FAVORITE Funnel Cake offered there!
HERSHEY’s Kitchens
HERSHEY’s Chocolate World is celebrating the Flavors of Fall with delicious cuisine options! My personal favorites is the Pumpkin Cheesecake with Cinnamon Chips.
But that’s not the only tasty cheesecake offering! You can also tantalize your taste buds with the Caramel Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake.
Hershey Entertainment & Resorts treated us to a dessert reception over the weekend! We were able to try many of the yummy goodies created by HERSHEY’s Kitchens.
And when I say the cheesecakes are to die for… you must treat to yourself to one or two!
If you are more of a chocolate fan than a cheesecake fan, don’t miss the Midnight Milkshake!! For a limited time, try this delicious shake consisting of the Special Dark Chocolate and KitKat blend.
Peanut Butter fan? Don’t miss the Reese’s Pieces Cookies!
At the dessert reception, my son especially loved the Halloween themed sugar cookies!

… and these monster / Halloween themed cupcakes? Adorable!
Sweet isn’t the only flavor of fall though… Try a limited edition seasonal savory dishes, such as the Beef Vegetable Soup, Fall Pizza, Pot Roast with Fall Vegetables, and Pumpkin Scones just to name a few.
Of course I can’t forget another one of my fall favorites… Apple Carrot Muffins!
Flavors of Fall Tasting
Want to become a HERSHEY’s Kitchens Sweet and Savory Expert? Unwrap another chocolate adventure when you travel through a combination of six tastings! Learn more about HERSHEY’S Kitchens, sample some of our favorite items, and leave with a sweet memory with the Flavors of Fall Tasting.
Try seasonal favorites such as Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake, Beef Vegetable Soup, Naan Flatbread, Cocoa Nib Coffee, Pumpkin Scone, and the Midnight Milkshake.
Also make sure you stop by the Deli section! The Deli and its delicious made to order sandwiches are open year round. While their Chocolate Cherry Baguette is not exclusive to fall, it is definitely worth taking a bite!
While my son loves to get the bread for a classic Ham and Cheese, I always opt for it with Turkey. Plus you can’t go wrong with Hershey’s Pretzel Snack Mix on the side!
Create Your Own Candy Bar
We LOVE the Create Your Own Candy Bar attraction at HERSHEY’s Chocolate World. Right now the experience is offering special Halloween themed graphics and designs to use on your packaging! Not exactly a Flavor of Fall, but still, how fun is that?
And jumping back over to Hersheypark… Don’t forget to head on over to the Spring Creek Smokehouse and Dietz & Watson Country Grill. Each location is offering special menus unique to each weekend! Plus, you can also enjoy fall beer and cider flights in the new Yuengling 1829 Patio & Pavilion, with live entertainment on Saturday evenings.
