It’s that time of year where fall festivals are popping up all over the State of Maryland. This is absolutely my favorite time of the year! And once October rolls around, Maryland offers plenty of fun Halloween events and festivals for you and your family to enjoy. Below is a list of fall and Halloween festivals taking place in Maryland this season, listed by starting date. Please let me know if you are aware of others that should be added to the list!
Horsmon Farm | St. Leonard
September 1 – October 29, Saturdays and Sundays. Montpelier Farms | Upper Marlboro
September 2 – November 5. Fridays (October only), Saturdays, and Sundays. Corn maze, hay rides, animals, pedal karts, bounce house, hill slides, “Spookley the Square Pumpkin” movie screening, and blazing bonfire in the evening. General admission $12, fees for activities. Gaver Farm Fall Fun Festival | Mount Airy
September 8 – November 5. Corn maze, jumping giant pillow, petting and feeding farm animals, giant slides and more. Greenstreet Gardens Fall Festival & Corn Maze | Lothian

Valley of the Haunted | White Hall
Haunted Trail: October 13 – 28, Friday and Saturdays, 7 – 10 PM. Little Haunts: October 15, 22 and 29, 2 PM. The attraction features a 1.2 mile walking trail through the woods crawling with ghosts, zombies, and more. Enjoy free onsite parking, haunted hay ride, live bands, and plenty to eat and drink.
