Now if you follow my social media accounts, you may have picked up on the fact that I’m a HUGE football fan. I’m a loyal fan to my team, the Washington Redskins.
Even in their loosing years, it didn’t phase me. They were my team and I was sticking to them instead of jumping ship to the other local team, the Baltimore Ravens. Now don’t get me wrong, I will cheer on the Ravens and I’m happy for them making it to the Super Bowl. Like I said though, Washington is my team and I’m a Redskins girl at heart.
So you can imagine my excitement tonight when it was announced that the Redskin’s new quarterback, Robert Griffin III, has been named by the NFL the 2012 Offensive Rookie of the Year! Yes, I’m so excited that I just had to even post it on my blog. Congrats RGIII! This is a well deserved award. Can’t wait to the years to come!
