One of my favorite activities to do with my son is to read books to him. We read books before I go to work, when I come home from work, right before he goes to bed. Okay, really whenever we can find the time. I’m especially always happy to find a book with a special message.
Ms. Kristy Christman, local Maryland resident, kindly sent me a copy of her first book Mommy, Can You Move The Sun?, published by Rocket Science Productions, with illustrations by Ms. Meredith Hancock. As a mother of three boys, drawing inspiration from Ms. Christman’s own family life, this lighthearted tale is about little Sam who needs his Mommy’s help. As you know, I do not want to give too much of the story away, but Mommy explains to Sam that though she can not do everything for him, she absolutely tries her best for the little man she loves. Though in Sam’s eyes, Mommy is still his superhero!
This is definitely a great picture book for mommies (or daddies) to read to their little ones. As a mom, I can definitely relate to the Mommy.. As a parent, of course I understand what it is like to try your absolute best to keep your children happy, comfortable, and safe. What a cute little book! My little man would love it. We moms do things that not even Superhero's can give. We give unconditional love, we kiss boo boos, we comfort when sick.
