Not only is the hardcover book durable, but the pages are as well! There is a high-quality to them, which includes a slight gloss. My little man as a tendency to want grab pages, and with this book, I knew his fast little hands wouldn’t do any damage. I loved the illustrations and my son couldn’t stop pointing out the vibrant red Carindal, one of the characters in the book. There is space at the beginning of the book to have a dedication printed.
