So for part of my pregnancy, I was placed on bed rest. This got to be boring real quick. So I’ll admit, I started playing online games. You know, fun quick ones like Solitaire, Hearts, Bingo, etc. It was an easy and fun way to pass the time. Now as a working mom to a busy toddler, those games aren’t exactly a priority. When I first heard of Zookt, I immediately thought back to those fun times of online games. Then when I learned that by playing those games, I could earn discounts and deals, well, I think I just found my reasoning to start playing again!
So the most awesome aspect of Zookt is that they allow you to compete against other players to win your favorite discount or deal on amazing products. They roll shopping, deals, and fun games all into one. How cool is that? There are three main free games to play: Hearts, Bingo, and Random Colors.
When you register with Zookt and you’ll instantly receive 100 free Zooks, which are virtual points that you use to bid on the products and deals of your desire. Featured deals are always running on the site so be sure to check those out. Right now I’m eyeing the $250 Southwest Airlines Gift Card for only $21! Is that an awesome deal or what?
So you’ve registered, have your 100 Zooks to start, now what? Well you can do one of two things. Either play one of the games to win more Zooks. The more Zooks you have, the bigger the discount you can use to play for your favorite item. Or you can just go ahead and start adding in the items you would like into your cart to play for.
There is an entry fee to play for each product. You can lower or eliminate that entry fee by using your Zooks. That’s why I think this site is great for anyone who enjoys online games. Win a lot of Zooks and you could probably keep the fees very very low or none at all. For instance, the other night I was thinking of playing for a Step 2 Water Table (RV $40). The entry fee was $5 and change. Now if I applied the Zooks I had in my account (that was only after playing 2 games did I go from my 100 free Zooks to 300!), I would receive a discount of $0.30. So if I want a bigger discount to my entry fee, I should play more games!
The more free games you play, the more Zooks you are likely to earn. Plus you can earn Zooks by just sharing Zookt with friends. You’ll earn 30 Zooks each time. If your referred friends play Zookt within a week, you’ll earn 2500 Zooks. Remember that for every game you win or lose, you’ll still earn free “Zooks” to apply to future entry fees. In addition, players who provide feedback at the end of every game can earn 20 Zooks.
So let me chat a little more about the games. I actually had a lot of fun with Bingo and Random Colors. Both games only allow up to 16 plays a round, so sometimes you may have to wait a minute before you can enter a “room” to play as there may be a “line” to get in. Random Colors is so easy that anyone can play. You simply pick a color when you enter, and then the system randomly drawers a color. If that’s your color… you win! I won 160 Zooks on my first game.
I like that in Bingo they actually do different patterns for you to win. It’s not just the straight Bingo line in traditional games. You’ll see the pattern you need to win in the top left corner. As the numbers are called, they appear on the top right. Previously numbers called are highlight along the right side of the page. When your number is called, just simply click that corresponding number on your Bingo card. Here is a screen shot of the Bingo game:
Overall I had lots of fun playing on Zookt and browsing the various deals they offer. If you play a lot of online games, why not play on Zookt and earn the chance to win real amazing prizes? Most sites it seems you have to play millions to win something like an iPad. Remember on Zookt, you are only playing 16 others, so you have a higher chance of winning. I think I’m going to practice the games a little more and win more Zooks before really getting into the shopping aspect of the site.
Later this year, Zookt plans to release more games and features. They are currently working on a Facebook application so you can play on there too! Don’t forget to connect with Zookt on Facebook and Twitter!
