Not too long ago we stopped in Homestead Gardens before heading over to the Tomato Festival and Chesapeake Chili Cook-Off. Their Halloween displays got us in the mood to start celebrating our favorite spooky holiday!

What do you look most forward to during this holiday?
Oh my goodness! We got a review costume for our middle daughter and my husband thinks that’s too soon lol. I don’t know if we’ll do a lot of decorating but now owning a home, it does make it more fun to decorate and show your holiday spirit!
Love Halloween! My kids love the decorations and dressing up. I love making the themed treats and that there’s tons of horror movies on to watch
My boyfriend is a HUGE Halloween freak. He make a Haunted Trail every year with his friends, they’re going on their 5th year doing it, but I can’t wait to decorate the house.

Aww yah, We love halloween here too! Well honestly I can’t wait for October, not just because of Halloween but Circleville Pumpkin festival here in Ohio has some yummy pumpkin taffy.. funnel cakes.. then comes Halloween, so the month of October is my fav!

Im so excited for Halloween this year! It’s one of my favorite holidays to go all out with decorations and goodies to bake.
Unfortunately we don’t really celebrate Halloween here in Australia but going to the US to experience a real one is on my bucket list!!
I am so looking forward to it this year. Last year trick or treating was cancelled because we had a freak snow storm and our power was out for DAYS. Including Halloween and my son’s birthday (the day after Halloween). We didn’t get power back until my birthday (the day after my sons). So anyways, the city canceled and did not reschedule and it was my baby girl’s 1st halloween too. We spent that night in my neighbor’s apartment playing board games by candle light instead. So this year will be my youngest daughter’s 1st halloween and we have got to do it all out this year for everyone.
I love Halloween! I am hoping we are back in KY before Halloween. They don’t allow trick or treating in my little community where I live in NJ. Parents can be fined for going door to door
