As a Nat Geo Kids Insider, I’m going to share with you all the amazing happenings going on with National Geographic Kids! Today we are chatting about the new TV series, Weird But True! With this show, you’ll meet science lovers (and siblings) Charlie and Kirby. They explore the FUN and STRANGE world of science on their series. Definitely a must watch for any budding scientist. I know my son is already excited to see where the brother and sister explore!
Each week Charlie and Kirby will dive into a new topic relating to the world of science. Think space, weather, archeology, and more… just to name a few. They’ll not only show you exciting “in-the-field” adventures, but also fun crafts, that help you to uncover the “weird but true” facts of science! It’s crazy the little tidbits of science information you’ll learn from this show.
For instance… Did you know that in ancient Greece, comets were called “hairy stars”? Or that tornadoes are so powerful they can dig a hole in the ground three feet deep? Who knew!
If you want to learn more about this new and exciting television series, you will definitely want to tune into Facebook on the National Geographic Kids page, TOMORROW (September 14). The Nat Geo Kids page is hosting a VERY SPECIAL (and weird) SURPRISE at 11:30 AM EST! Make sure you tune in!
