I’m not one who spends too much time on the road. I’m fortunate enough to live not only time miles away from my office, but in a central location in my town where the mall, grocery store, night life, restaurants, bars, waterfront, parks, etc are all within 15 minutes or less from me.

However, because I do live part-time out of State, it’s often that I’ll be stuck in the car 8 hours at a time. You know what I love about road trips though? The interesting places I encounter and the sites I see along the way. With that much time on the road, I definitely have some interesting road trip stories to tell!

My Every Day Road Trip Facebook Contest

Cooper Tire has been producing tires for life’s road trips for nearly 100 years. Cooper is known for their quality passenger, light truck, sport utility, performance and winter tires, created for nearly every vehicle out there on the road.

This is why I’m so excited to announce the Cooper Tire’s My Every Day Road Trip Contest! Fans of Cooper Tire may submit their not-so-every day road trip stories to the Facebook page. The road trip stories can either be in the form of a written story, a photo or a video. Don’t forget to be original, creative, and show a passion for Cooper Tire! All submissions must be in by March 29th.

The top written story will win a $100 gift card to use toward gas for one week while the highest rated photo entry will receive a $500 gift card to use toward gas for one month. That’s not all though! The top five video finalists will each win a new set of four Cooper tires and advance to the final phase of the competition. To determine the top video winner, it’s up to the Cooper Tire Facebook fans. They will vote for their favorite Every Day Road Trip video, to help determine the final winner. The video with the combined highest score and most votes will be awarded a gift card for $5,000 toward gas for one year to fuel their daily drive. How awesome is that?

Since Cooper Tire is feeling generous, they are offering Fans a chance to win a Road Trip Kit just for voting during the My Every Day Road Trip contest. Beginning April 15, the Facebook fans can vote for who they think should win in efforts to help determine the video winner. Each day that Fans vote, they will automatically receive an entry to win a Road Trip Kit, which includes a $100 Cooper Tire auto service voucher, a $50 gas card, $50 iTunes gift card and various Cooper gear!

GUND is currently holding their first ever “Top Dog” Contest! Inspired by the wildly-popular “World’s Cutest Dog” Boo stuffed dog from GUND, the Top Dog Contest invites pup parents from around the country to submit photos of their own four-footed friends on the GUND Facebook page in one or all of the following four categories:

  • Most Beautiful Dog
  • Ugliest Dog
  • “Doganista”/Best Dressed Dog
  • Dog that Most Resembles its Owner

The Grand Prize is beyond awesome! GUND will create a limited edition model of the winner’s dog! Your dog could be the next popular GUND plush just like Boo! The winning plush will be available in stores in 2013.
