Disney’s Club Penguin Members Suit Up as Marvel Super Heroes & Super Villains!

I received the following information as a blogger for Walt Disney Publications and was not financially compensated. All opinions are my own.

Right now, penguins are assembling as Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains in Disney’s Club Penguin, the #1 virtual world for kids! Be on the look out Penguin players, as you just might be called to defend the city of Penguintropolis and bring those members dressed as Marvel Super Villains to justice. Do this before the villains they take over with their destructive robots! Watch out! There are eight different kinds of robots out there… Once you’ve chosen your side, you can suit up in 27 Marvel costumes like Iron Man, Captain America, Sif, or the new She-Hulk to name a few. Find yourself a little more mischievous? Maybe you should suit up more to the likes of the Mandarin and Loki.

My son is a little too young for Club Penguin, but all my friend’s with older kids, they rave about it! It’s been to hear which kids have gone hero and which kids have gone villain. Either way, they are absolutely having a blast.

Last year’s partnership event with Marvel was extremely popular, and at that time, became the most-trafficked event in our history. This year we’ve made the Marvel Super Hero Takeover Event even more epic for players with twice the amount of Marvel Super Hero and Super Villain costume options and deeper, more action-packed gameplay and storylines.” – Chris Heatherly, Vice President and General Manager, Disney Interactive Worlds

Guest Post: Magical Family Fun at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament ~ #Review

This guest was written by Jennifer Davis, for Maryland Momma’s Rambles and Reviews. She and her family received a complimentary experience at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament at Arundel Mills, located in Hanover, MD. This is 100% her own honest opinion.

Experience Magical Family Fun at Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament!

I recently had the opportunity to experience our local Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. Unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts, I found the experience more fitting for my friend (and blog contributor!) Jennifer and her family. Please continue reading to learn more about her family fun night out at Medieval Times:

Stepping into Medieval Times is a magical place! As you first enter the “castle”, you are greeted by a Knight who kindly gives you a crown to wear. Yes, Mom and Dad receive crowns to join in the fun too.  It is then that you are whisked away into a magical land!

Our seating was Royalty! This means we were in the first row and additionally were served scrumptious “blood dragon soup” (which was a tomato bisque soup) and castle bread. My daughter just loved the mythical names!

Simple Earth Day Craft for Toddlers ~ #EarthDay

Earth Day Craft idea for a simple treeIn case you didn’t already know, Earth Day 2013 will occur on April 22! Earth Day serves as an annual day to celebrate worldwide the environment, as well as to demonstrate support for environmental protection. So my two year old might not exactly understand everything there is to know about why the environment needs protection. However, since he loves trees, I tell him Earth Day is to celebrate the trees!

The other day we worked on a simple craft project that is easy for toddlers! All you need is a toiler paper roll (or a paper towel roll cut shorter), and then green card stock paper to create an adorable free standing tree. If you don’t have green card stock, you can use the card board of a cereal box and either paint it green, or glue green construction paper on it.
