I was asked by Carusele to participate in the #SimplyNice campaign, sponsored by Nice!® at Walgreens. Although I have been compensated, all opinions are my own.
Who here takes long car trips for summer vacation? We do! With my family living up in New England, driving 7 hours is not uncommon for us. I always make a list of everything we need for those long car trips. Do you know what item is at the top of the list? SNACKS! Luckily before our most recent trip, I spotted a number of great healthy “on-the-go” snack options at our local Walgreens. I knew I hit the jackpot, and quickly grabbed up a number of Nice!® brand snacks for our trip.
While browsing the aisles of Walgreens, I must say it was the new teal packaging of Nice!® that caught my eye! Their tagline of “Simple. Honest. Delicious.” is exactly what I look for in snacks for my family. Plus I love how Nice!® displays information, such as the calories per serving, in the top right corner for easy viewing. It’s a quick way to know you are making the right choice if you are looking for all-natural, high in protein, good source of fiber, type of snacks.
With so many snack options available these days, it’s good to find the one that is the healthier option. The primary focus of Nice!® is balanced food (“healthier” and indulgence where allowed”), food that is great tasting with three tiers: base, premium, and organic. Nice!® truly does deliver uncompromised quality and taste.
It didn’t matter if we were headed to the beach, the playground, or the amusement park. It was so easy to throw a bag of Nice!® snacks into my tote for when anyone in my family was hit by the hunger bug.
One of my favorites for the beach is the banana chips! I can see right there on the bag that it is 290 calories and there are no artificial flavors.
Luckily I did not have to worry about sharing my stash on our latest beach trip. My son is all about the Wasabi Flavored Snack Mix! You would think with the sand and the surf, he would like a delicious tropical treat as well. But he’s a fan of spicy! This mix is great that it has enough kick for Wasabi fans, but it isn’t too overpowering so that kids can enjoy it as well.
Nice!® believes in celebrating the good in every day, in every food, as they offer these healthier delicious treats that not only nourish the body, but also elevate the spirits! While on vacation, we spent many of our days at the park, running around, climbing, jumping, and having fun as a family. One of our favorite activities though was to shoot up these tiny helicopters into the sky, and run to try to catch them as they float back towards the ground.
Knowing we would have such active days, the Omega 3 Mix was perfect to take with us to the park. Packed with cranberries, almonds, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds, this snack was a hit with the whole family. The Omega 3 Mix is just another example of Nice!®‘s affordable balanced food that offers a great taste you can feel good about so that you can live well for less. There are no PHO’s, and no trans fats. Nice!® strives to use real ingredients and reduce artificial ingredients.
Another great aspect of Nice!® is that they offer such a variety. It doesn’t matter if you are looking for savory or sweet. They got it! At our local Walgreens I was able to purchase a variety of products such as Lightly Salted Cashews, Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Blueberry Pie Mix, and more. There is something for everyone when it comes to the snacks offered by Nice!®.
As a parent, I can keep a peace a mind knowing that the Nice!® snacks from Walgreens are the right choice for our family, whether taking the pouches on the go, or serving at home as a mid-afternoon snack. It all circles back to those “simple, honest, delicious” ingredients.
It doesn’t matter if we are heading out on a long car trip, or spending the afternoon at the park or museum, I’m bringing Nice!® snacks with me!
