Next month marks the beginning of FeBREWary, Maryland’s official month-long celebration of craft beer! I love that Maryland has a month dedicated to craft beer fans coming together to celebrate the best of Maryland brewing. All across the state you will find craft brew events hosted by local breweries, ale houses and brew pubs. Fans will be able to enjoy one-of-a-kind beers, small batch brews, and beer and food pairings selected by the area’s top brewers and chefs, according to the Brewers Association of Maryland. FeBREWary in Maryland is the perfect opportunity to hoist a pint with good friends in great places.
“First Night” once again returns to Annapolis! This family-oriented event provides residents and visitors with a fun-filled and safe environment for all ages to celebrate New Year’s Eve in lovely scenic Downtown Annapolis. The event includes live musical entertainment and will feature two fireworks displays! There is an early fireworks show for families and a traditional midnight display to ring in the New Year.
I’m so excited to announce that the The National Theatre is getting ready to kick off its 2016-2017 Broadway Season! Starting the season (for three nights only) is ONCE, November 25th through the 27th. ONCE is truly an amazing and original Broadway experience! Based on John Carney’s 2007 film of the same title, this show won eight, yes EIGHT, 2012 Tony Awards® including BEST MUSICAL.
For my local Annapolis area parents, this is a FREE event that is definitely worth checking out! On Saturday, Octoober 22, Historic Annapolis, Inc. is hosting an event featuring the ever popular PBS’s Daniel Tiger. You won’t want to miss Good Neighbor Day with Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood in the William Paca Garden.
