Asian Style Sweet Chili Salmon

In this household, we love cooking and coming up with dishes centered around Sweet Chili sauce. I was ecstatic to learn that Giant Food is currently offering a delicious Asian Style Sweet Chili marinade! I’ve been using this marinade on all sorts of dishes… but my favorite by far, is using it on salmon. Today I’m sharing with you how easy it is to create an Asian Style Sweet Chili Salmon dish that is beyond yummy.

The ingredients are quite simple. All you need is a salmon filet, and Giant Food’s Asian Style Sweet Chili marinade. Hurry though! This marinade is only available for a limited time. And trust me. This is definitely a marinade you will want to stock up on!

First you’ll want to place your salmon in a dish in which to marinade it. Pour the sweet chili over the salmon. You can either let it sit out in room temperature for 30 minutes, or, as I prefer, place in the fridge and let it marinade for several hours. I actually like to do this while I’m work, so that the salmon is ready for me to cook as soon as I get home.

I prefer to pan sear my salmon on the stove top. Once the salmon is marinaded though, you can also place it in a broiler, or cook in an oven at 400 degrees between 10 and 25 minutes (depending on how you like your fish cooked). All three cooking methods work with this marinade!

Additionally I like to simmer a bit of the sweet chili in a pan on the stove top. Once heated, I’ll pour a bit of the sauce on top of my fish once it is done cooking. Serve the salmon over rice for a complete Asian inspired style meal!

If you like spice in your meals, this Asian Style Sweet Chili Marinade, as well as the Hot Sriracha Glaze I posted about last week, are both available at Giant Food.

What kind of dishes would you create with Asian Style Sweet Chili Marinade?

I was provided the product(s) featured in partnership with Giant Food. All opinions are 100% my own.
